The sockets (outlets) in Bhutan usually have between 220 and 240 volts AC. If you’re plugging in an appliance that was built for 220-240 volt electrical input, or an appliance that is compatible with multiple voltages, then an adapter is all you need.
We recommend to bring a voltage converter adapter for your appliances.
In Bhutan you might find the 3 different types of electrical sockets. From place to place you travel the sockets might be different. It is still advisable to bring an adapter with you.
